Medplus, a Nigerian retail chain pharmacy, joined its voice to call for the end of plastic pollution globally, starting from its immediate environment on World Environment Day 2025.
The company, one of the top in the business in the country, reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability with a series of internal and external initiatives aimed at reducing plastic waste and promoting responsible consumption along the lines of this year’s global theme, “Ending Plastic Pollution.”
Joke Bakare, the managing director and chief executive officer of Medplus, emphasised the urgent need for collective action.
