Oshiomhole’s Airport Outburst Disrupts Flights, Air Peace Responds

According to eyewitness accounts and later confirmed by a statement released by Air Peace, the incident began around 6:10 a.m. when the senator arrived late at Terminal 1 (Zulu Hall) to board Flight P47120 to Abuja, scheduled to depart at 6:30 a.m. However, the airline had already closed boarding in line with its standard on-time departure policy, and the flight proceeded as scheduled.

What followed was a scene of chaos, with multiple eyewitnesses claiming that Senator Oshiomhole became verbally and physically aggressive after being informed he had missed his flight. In the airline’s official statement, Air Peace accused the politician of assaulting its staff, sealing off the terminal entrance, and manning the access gate to block other travelers from entering the departure hall.

This conduct, according to Air Peace, severely disrupted airport operations and affected passengers on other scheduled flights.
