This was disclosed in a statement issued Monday by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
According to the statement, President Tinubu’s earlier scheduled trip to Kaduna State has now been rescheduled for Thursday, to allow him address the escalating security crisis in Benue first-hand.
The president’s visit comes amid national outrage and rising concerns over the recurring attacks in parts of the state, particularly in Yelwata, Guma Local Government Area, where several lives were recently cut short in a brutal assault.
