The video sparked online outrage, with many accusing the pastor of brandishing a firearm.
Adefarasin turned himself in at the police headquarters in Lagos and was interrogated by investigators.
The police, in a statement issued on the 18th of June, 2025, said the object in question was not a firearm but a stun gun.
