The protest comes in response to the ongoing strike by primary school teachers in the FCT, which has lasted for over three months.
The teachers began their industrial action on March 24, 2025, over the refusal of Area Council Chairmen to implement the new national minimum wage of ₦70,000.
In a symbolic move, VeryDarkMan brought a group of children to the minister’s gate, declaring it their “new classroom.”
He was seen teaching the children and later serving them rice and chicken, reportedly provided by himself and a group of supporters.
