President Bola Tinubu on Thursday explained that the tax reform bills are targeted at providing relief for low-income earners, small businesses, and families working hard to make ends meet.
He also explained that the four bills will unify Nigeria’s fragmented tax system, eliminate wasteful duplications, cut red tape, restore investor confidence, and entrench transparency and coordination at every level.
Papers News reports that the President made the declaration in a personally signed statement released via his 𝕏 account in which he justified the decision to sign and implement the tax reform bills.
