President Tinubu had hosted both Fubara and Wike at a closed-door meeting in Abuja on Thursday night to address the ongoing political unrest in Rivers.
Reports indicate that the President successfully brokered a truce between the two rivals.

Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Fubara stressed the importance of peace for the state’s progress and affirmed that the agreement reached had put an end to the crisis.
