President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Barrister Ismael Ahmed as the Executive Chairman of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGi).
Papers News reports that this was disclosed on Friday in a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
According to the statement, Ahmed will oversee the strategic implementation and operations of the PCNGi, a flagship component of the Federal Government’s response to the challenges arising from fuel subsidy removal.
