President Bola Tinubu reportedly sent Vice President Kashim Shettima to visit his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari, in a London Hospital on Monday.
Former media aide to Buhari, Bashir Ahmad, had earlier dismissed claims that the former Nigerian leader was critically ill and in the Intensive Care Unit.
He explained that Buhari was indeed ill but was on his way to recovery. He insisted that the situation was not as dire as widely reported.
