The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has hailed the late former President Muhammadu Buhari as a man of deep principle and unwavering patriotism who devoted his life to serving Nigeria.
Papers News reports that Akpabio spoke on Thursday during a special Federal Executive Council (FEC) session convened by President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja to honour the late leader.
Recall that Buhari died in London on Sunday, July 13, 2025, after a brief illness and was buried on Tuesday in his hometown, Daura, Katsina State, in accordance with Islamic rites.
