A Nigerian lawyer, Ekemini Udim, has argued that it would be incorrect to interpret a recent ruling by Justice Binta Nyako as an order for the Nigerian Senate to recall the suspended Kogi Central lawmaker, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
According to Udim, the court only recommended that the Senate amend its rules regarding the punishment of erring members.
Papers News reports that the legal practitioner made the submission on Wednesday during an appearance on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief.
