The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC) has considered and approved the elevation of 57 legal practitioners to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
The LPPC gave its approval on Thursday at the end of its 169th Plenary Session held in Abuja, which was presided over by the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun.
Papers News reports that of the 57 legal practitioners set to be elevated, 56 are advocate appointees while the academic category has a single entry in the person of Prof. Chima Ubanyionwu.
