The Aviation unions in Nigeria have suspended their planned nationwide strike, which was earlier scheduled to commence on Monday, 11th August.
The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, confirmed the development in a statement shared via his 𝕏 account on Sunday.
Papers News reports the unions, made up of the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSAN), Association of Nigeria Aviation Professionals (ANAP) and the Amalgamated Union of Public Corporations, Civil Service Technical And Recreational Services Employees (AUCPTRE), disclosed in a statement that the planned strike is being suspended due to positive feedbacks on their greivances after the intervention of some stakeholders.
