Troops in the convoy of the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 8 Division and Commander Sector 2 of the Joint Task Force North West Operation FANSAN YAMMA, Major General Bemgha Koughna, successfully repelled an attack on his convoy by terrorists in Kebbi State.
According to a statement on Monday by the Nigerian Army, which was signed by the Acting Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, 8 Division, Nigerian Army/Sector 2 Operation FANSAN YAMMA, Lieutenent Colonel Olaniyi Osoba, the terrorists, suspected to be from the Lakurawa group, attacked the General’s convoy near Mayama Hill in Kebbi State.
