The airline confirmed that Flight P47868, operating between Lagos and Asaba, and Flight P47424 on the Lagos–Kano route both encountered bird strikes on arrival. Following standard safety protocols, both aircraft were taken out of service and sent back to base for mandatory inspections by the airline’s engineering team.
To limit inconvenience to travelers, Air Peace deployed replacement aircraft to cover the affected routes and restore schedules as quickly as possible.
