The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Joshua Ishaku of the All Progressives Congress as the winner of the Bwari Area Council chairmanship election held on February 21, 2026.
The Returning Officer, Prof. Mohammed Nurudeen, announced the result on Sunday in Bwari, confirming Ishaku’s victory.
