In a statement released on Thursday by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric claimed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has already earmarked both officials for replacement before the end of his current term, urging them to turn to prayer to avert the development.
“The Customs DG, Bashir Adewale, and the Controller-General of the Nigerian Correctional Service need to be very watchful against removal from office. I see their names being penned down for replacement already, except they seek the face of God. They need to pray against a bad record that will see them out of office,” Primate Ayodele stated.
Beyond the two officials, Primate Ayodele also hinted that several serving ministers may not retain their positions should President Tinubu win a second term in office.
