Africa Prudential Announces Resignation of Finance Manager, Appoints Interim Replacement

Africa Prudential Plc has announced the resignation of its Finance Manager, Mr. Chidi Micheal, in a move disclosed to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and stakeholders.
In a notice dated March 12, 2026, the company confirmed that Mr. Micheal stepped down from his position effective February 28, 2026.
According to the statement, the board and management of Africa Prudential have accepted his resignation and have initiated steps to ensure continuity in the company’s finance leadership.
To maintain operational stability within the finance department, the company has appointed Mrs. Omolayo Akindemowo, a Chartered Accountant, to take over the role on an interim basis pending the appointment of a substantive Chief Finance Officer.
Africa Prudential stated that Mrs. Akindemowo will oversee financial management responsibilities while the process to recruit and appoint a permanent Chief Finance Officer is ongoing.
The company added that the market will be notified once the recruitment process for the new Chief Finance Officer is concluded.
The disclosure was signed by the Company Secretary, Joseph Jibunoh, and forms part of the company’s regulatory obligation to keep the Nigerian Exchange and investors informed about key management changes.
