After Deadly Strikes, Trump Reveals Iran Leaders Want To Hold Talks
United States President, Donald Trump, on Sunday disclosed that the Iranian government had reached out to initiate talks with Washington following Saturday’s airstrikes that reportedly killed Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and several top officials.
Trump made the disclosure during a telephone interview with The Atlantic, stating that Tehran was now willing to negotiate, though he described the move as belated.
