The Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is also the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for guiding the party to a very successful National Convention.
The governor expresses optimism that given the overwhelming cooperation exhibited by all party faithful for a seamless process of electing party structures at all levels, the party will continue to record huge success and perpetually grow from strength to strength.
He said: “I heartily congratulate the Leader of our great party and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for providing the visionary leadership that ensured the successful planning and seamless execution of the National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held on March 27, 2026.
“The amicable ratification of all proceedings leading to the convention, from the ward, local government, state, and zonal congresses, accentuate the strength, unity, and internal democracy of our great party.
“This achievement is an expression of conviction to purposeful leadership and a shared commitment to progress.”
Alia also congratulated the National Chairman of the party, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, and all other affirmed officials at all levels.
He charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by party members, urging them to remain steadfast in upholding the integrity, discipline, and sanctity of their offices, while working diligently to strengthen party cohesion and advance the ideals of the APC.
He stated that the expectations of Nigerians and party faithful are high, adding: “I am confident that under your collective leadership, the party will continue to grow stronger and deliver on its mandate.”
