Army Releases Video Of How 63 Terrorists Were Neutralised In Borno

The Nigerian Army has released a video evidence confirming the neutralisation of 63 terrorists suspected to be Boko Haram and ISWAP fighters in Mallam Fatori, Abadam Local Government Area of Borno State.

Papers News reported that at least sixty terrorists responsible for chaos in the northern region of Nigeria were reportedly killed in a recent decisive assault by the troops of Operation Hadin Kai of the Nigerian Army.

In a statement posted on its official 𝕏 handle, the Nigerian Army Headquarters said the insurgents invaded the area from the Duguri on foot, supported by multiple armed drones but were successfully repelled by the troops.

The statement noted that the troops have “since commenced exploitation operations to pursue and eliminate the fleeing terrorists, while Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance platforms are being deployed to dominate the adversary’s withdrawal routes and prevent regrouping”.

In the video several lifeless bodies of the terrorists could be seen lying at the scene.

It is worth noting that numerous insurgents causing terror in the North-East have been eliminated by the military in recent days.

Earlier this week, a significant number of Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) militants were killed by the troops in New Marte, located in the Marte local government area of Borno State.
