Correction Notice: Wrong image used in report on viral soldier post unverified

We sincerely apologize for an error in our recent publication concerning a viral post attributed to a soldier identified as Emmanuel Ezra.

Following further review, we have confirmed that the image used in the report does not correspond to the individual referenced. The soldier in the photo is identified as Hossanna Awuah, and the earlier association was incorrect.

We have received reports suggesting that the claims in the viral post may not have occurred as presented and that the Facebook profile in question could be impersonating Hossanna Awuah.

The image has since been removed, as well as the article.
