Death of Nigerian, Her Children in US: FG sympathises with family

The Federal Government has sympathised with the family of a Nigerian who died in an accident with two children in the United States of America.

Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), made this position known on Friday.

Dabiri-Erewa said she is deeply saddened by the death of Nihinloluwa Agoro and her children: Temiloluwa and Isaac, in a road accident in Fort Bend County, Texas in the US.

In a statement by Abdur-Rahman Balogun, the Commission’s Head of Media, Public Relations and Protocols Unit, she said that such a sudden loss is heartbreaking for any family, especially during what should have been an ordinary journey.

She expressed her deepest sympathy to the family, praying for the repose of the soul of the deceased and comfort for those left behind.

She also wished a speedy recovery to anyone injured in the accident.

The NiDCOM Boss equally called for caution on the roads to prevent such tragedies, as she stands with the Nigerian community in Texas, and the US in general, who are affected by this loss.

According to news reports, the sad event happened on March 15, 2026 as they were on their way to church.
