I’m Mentally Stressed” – Kunle Remi Speaks Out on Soaring Fuel Prices

Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has expressed frustration over Nigeria’s rising fuel costs and economic hardships. In a video shared on Instagram, the actor lamented the high price of petrol, power outages, and the burden on ordinary citizens.

Kunle revealed that he recently paid over ₦1,300 per litre for petrol and questioned why an oil-producing nation like Nigeria feels the impact of international crises so quickly.

He also highlighted the effect on businesses and workers, noting that some of his staff are struggling to get to work due to rising transport costs.

“I’m blown away because I’m mentally stressed,” Kunle said. “We don’t have light, diesel is expensive, fuel is expensive, and some of my staff can barely afford to come to work. Salaries no longer stretch as they used to.”

The actor criticized the lack of functional refineries and insufficient government support, emphasizing the need for national discussions on these economic challenges.
