His Excellency, The Senator (Engr.) Otunba Gbenga Daniel, FNSE, FAEng, Senator representing Ogun East and former Governor of Ogun State, has extended warm and heartfelt felicitations to Muslim faithful across Nigeria and his constituency as they mark Eid El-Fitr, the joyous conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement issued on Friday, Senator Daniel said: “I join my faith with millions of Muslim faithful across Nigeria, Ogun State, and most especially our dear Ogun East Senatorial District in celebrating the successful completion of the mandatory Ramadan.
This season of fasting, prayer, charity, and deep spiritual reflection is a powerful reminder of the values of humility, compassion, and unity that bind us together as a people.”
The Senator prayed for the Muslim faithful, saying: “May Allah SWT shower His endless mercy and blessings on you all, and may He accept your Ibadah.
May the sacrifice and devotion of these thirty blessed days continue to illuminate your paths and strengthen the bonds of our communities.”
Senator Daniel, a two-term former Governor of Ogun State and distinguished engineer, has long been a unifying figure across the diverse communities of Ogun East.
His message reflects his commitment to the peaceful coexistence and mutual respect that define the senatorial district he represents.
