The All Progressives Congress, APC, has announced the resumption of its electronic membership registration exercise across the country.
In a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, the APC said the exercise will be conducted in all wards and designated centres nationwide.
The party urged existing members to validate their membership, while encouraging new members to take advantage of the exercise to join its ranks.
According to the statement, prospective registrants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number, NIN.
“The e-registration exercise is designed to digitise the party’s membership register, ensure the integrity of records, and enhance efficient access to membership data for planning and management decisions,” the statement read.
It added that the initiative would also promote internal democracy and strengthen the party’s commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria.
