Interior Minister urges support for Tinubu’s re-election

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has urged Nigerians to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu beyond 2027 to ensure policy continuity and sustained development.

He said President Tinubu had recorded measurable progress across critical sectors, including the economy, education, and infrastructure, under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Tunji-Ojo made the call during the inauguration of a campaign group for President Tinubu’s re-election in Akungba, Ondo State.

The minister was represented at the event by the Chairman of the group in Akoko South West/East Federal Constituency, Abiodun Ogunbi.

He said the President had taken bold decisions to stabilise the economy and that his re-election in 2027 would consolidate the gains.

He said: “You should take the campaign to the grassroots to ensure 95 percent of votes for the President.

“You are to engage with people at the unit, ward, and local government levels on the achievements of the President.”

Tunji-Ojo urged members of the group, known as the Bunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO) Campaign Group, to work assiduously at the grassroots to secure a landslide victory for Tinubu.

The minister also urged the group to identify party members who might be aggrieved after the congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state and reconcile them with the party.

In his remarks, Ogunbi commended the minister for his support for the President and urged members of the group to mobilise massive grassroots backing for Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

Party leaders from across the state attended the event.
