President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has adjusted his schedule, postponing his planned visit to Iperu in Ogun State where he was to inaugurate operations at the Gateway International Cargo Airport.
Instead, the President will travel to Jos, the capital of Plateau State, to sympathize with residents and authorities following recent gun attacks that claimed several lives.
After his stop in Plateau, Tinubu will proceed to Lagos to observe the Good Friday holiday.
On Saturday, April 4, he is expected to resume official engagements in Ogun State, where he will commission the Gateway International Cargo Airport and inaugurate two commercial aircraft intended to support import and export activities and drive economic growth.
During the visit, the President will also unveil the newly constructed Federal Operations Unit headquarters of the Nigerian Customs Service, along with its operational vehicles.
Tinubu will later return to Lagos to continue the Easter celebrations, during which he is scheduled to commission several projects executed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. These include the Ojota–Opebi Link Bridge, the Lagos State Geographic Information System building, a multi-agency complex named in his honour, and a new school complex.
Before heading back to Abuja, the President will visit Bayelsa State on April 10 to inaugurate projects completed by Governor Duoye Diri.
