Former Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, has dismissed reports of division within the All Progressives Congress (APC), insisting that party members are united in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.

Amosun made the declaration on Saturday while addressing APC members and supporters during the party’s presidential primary held in Ward 6, Itoko, Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun State.

According to him, the nationwide primary exercise reflects the party’s collective resolve to ensure Tinubu secures another term in office.

He explained that party members across the country came out to demonstrate loyalty to both the APC and the President, stressing that there was no disagreement within the party.

Amosun said the exercise was peaceful and coordinated, adding that APC members were united in their support for Tinubu’s administration and its policies.

Also speaking at the event, the member representing Abeokuta South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Afolabi Moruf Afuape, described the large turnout of party supporters as proof of Tinubu’s growing popularity nationwide.

He stated that the enthusiasm displayed by APC faithful showed confidence in the President’s leadership and vision for the country.
