Don Jazzy Hails Johnny Drille as Nigeria’s Best Musician

Nigerian music executive and producer, Don Jazzy, has described singer Johnny Drille as the best musician in the Nigerian music industry, saying he stands out with a unique sound and exceptional versatility.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Crea8torium podcast, the Mavin Records boss said Johnny Drille has no rival in the industry, adding that the singer represents a complete musical package.
According to him, Johnny Drille is not only a singer but also a writer, producer, and performer whose studio recordings match his live performances.
“If you look at the Nigerian music industry right now, there is nobody like Johnny Drille. He is in a world of his own. He is like the best musician — the complete musician that I know. He is versatile. He mixes, writes, sings. He does everything,” Don Jazzy said.
“He is also an amazing performer — the way he sounds in the studio is the same way he sounds in live shows,” he added.

She added that she has no regrets about returning to Nigeria and embracing Afrobeats, describing it as a defining step in her career.
