“He didn’t call, he didn’t beg” – Lady loses marriage after repeatedly returning to father’s house after every fight
A woman has reportedly lost her marriage after repeatedly leaving her matrimonial home for her father’s house every time she had a misunderstanding with her husband.
The story, shared by Twitter user @HarmlessHQ, details how the husband eventually stopped pursuing reconciliation and moved on with his life.
Frequent Trips to Her Father’s House
According to the narration, the husband always cared for his wife and often did everything she asked without hesitation.
However, the situation allegedly changed when the wife began leaving the matrimonial home after minor misunderstandings.
He wrote:
“The husband used to be all over her and did her bidding without a second thought.”
“She leveraged the attention from the man and began to weaponize it. At the slightest provocation, usually instigated by her, she’ll pack some of her belongings and carry the kids to father’s house.”
Despite the repeated incidents, the husband allegedly continued sending money for feeding and would later visit her family’s house to beg for reconciliation.
“He’ll still spend a lot in drinks and settlement for the mother for taking care of the kids.”
Husband Gives Final Warning
However, things reportedly changed after one particular incident when the husband gave his wife a stern warning that he would no longer beg or seek reconciliation.
He reportedly said:
“He made her understand that if she likes, let her stay one year in her father’s house and come back whenever she wants, he’s okay with it. But the last thing he’ll do will be coming to her father’s house to beg for her return.”
The woman, however, allegedly did not take the warning seriously.
“He Didn’t Flinch”
After another disagreement, she reportedly left again with the children, expecting the usual pattern to continue, but the husband allegedly stayed silent.
“The husband didn’t flinch. He didn’t call. He zeroed it.”
“After a week, the mother called and was bashing the man for asking about his wife and kids. The following week, the father called. The husband didn’t flinch.”
Months later, she reportedly reached out for school fees, but the husband refused to send money unless the children returned home.
“The man said he’s not sending a dime unless the kids return to his house. If they’re under another person’s roof without his approval, the person harbouring them should foot the bills.”
Marriage Eventually Ends
After about a year and six months apart, the husband reportedly moved on and remarried.
“After a year and 6 months, the husband remarried.”
“The wife is still in her father’s house with the remaining 4 kids.”
