Nollywood Actor Ibro Opens Up On Spiritual Battles, Long Hospital Stay After Featuring In ‘666’ Movie
Popular Nollywood actor, Musa Ibrahim, widely known as Ibro, has revealed that he faced serious spiritual and personal challenges after acting in the 2007 horror movie 666 (Beware the End Is at Hand).
The actor made the revelation during an interview with content creator Lucky Udu, where he spoke about the difficult period that forced him away from the entertainment industry for years.
According to Ibro, shortly after starring in the movie, he began experiencing what he described as spiritual attacks. He also disclosed that he was later involved in a terrible accident that left him hospitalised for nearly two years.
The actor explained that the incident affected both his health and career, making him temporarily withdraw from acting and public life.
Speaking about the experience, Ibro said many people only see the glamorous side of Nollywood without understanding the struggles actors go through behind closed doors.
He said: “So many things happened in my life when people didn’t see me on the screen. That film 666 is not an ordinary film. I started having issues and spiritual attacks. After the movie, I was involved in an accident and stayed in the hospital for one to two years before recovering. After that, I stepped away from entertainment for some time.”
Meanwhile, Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has condemned a disturbing trend on TikTok where some users post her photos alongside “RIP” captions.
The actress expressed anger over the development in a video shared online on Tuesday, warning those responsible to stop spreading such content.
Toyin stated that several videos using her images with death-related messages had circulated widely across social media platforms. She stressed that the trend was unacceptable and vowed not to ignore anyone found behind the posts.
Reacting emotionally, the actress prayed against untimely death for herself, her husband Kolawole Ajeyemi, their children, family members, fans and even critics.
She insisted that nobody connected to her would die before their time and urged those responsible for the videos to delete them immediately.
Toyin also warned that she would take the matter seriously if she discovered those creating or sharing the posts, stressing that attaching “RIP” messages to her pictures was wrong and insensitive.
