“I wished to…”- Lady speaks out as husband collects bride price after split
A Nigerian lady has reacted after her ex-husband reclaimed her bride price despite their split in 2023.
In a Facebook post, Obianju Ritanwa A. Aneto disclosed that her ex-husband reclaimed the bride price on June 13, 2025.
Lady Speaks Out
Although, the circumstances surrounding their divorce were not disclosed in the viral post.
According to the lady, she had announced their engagement and marriage online and wished her marriage worked out , but it eventually fell apart.
Reflecting on the incident, she stated, “It’s nothing to be happy about but it happened, anything that happens in my life it’s God’s wish”.
