Live: Israel, Hezbollah agree to partial ceasefire in Lebanon

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam reportedly chaired the ministerial meeting on Monday morning.

Information Minister Paul Morcos said after the meeting, “Salam began the meeting with a briefing on the course of launching negotiations at the military level in Washington. He also presented the ongoing Lebanese efforts, in an intense manner, with friendly and brotherly countries, which are focused on re-establishing the ceasefire.”

“The meeting discussed various aspects of the displacement file, especially in light of recent developments,” he added.

A comprehensive report on the past three months will be issued tomorrow regarding responses to shelter and displacement needs.

An urgent international appeal is scheduled to launch on Friday, in continuation of previous relief efforts, to meet the growing needs of the displaced amid a decline in currently available capabilities.
