Nicki Minaj Explains Why Fame Pulled Her Away From Church Attendance

American rapper Nicki Minaj has revealed why she no longer attends church regularly, attributing the change to the demands of her flourishing music career rather than a loss of faith.

Speaking during a recent episode of The Bryce Crawford Podcast, the award-winning artist said her busy schedule began interfering with church attendance once her career gained momentum.

According to Minaj, performing on Friday and Saturday nights often leaves her exhausted by Sunday mornings, making it difficult to participate in church services.

The 43-year-old stressed that her absence from church is not a reflection of diminished faith. Instead, she explained that the nature of her profession consumes much of her weekends, leaving little room for regular worship attendance.

Despite no longer attending church consistently, Minaj maintained that her belief in God remains strong and that she continues to nurture a personal relationship with Him.

She added that her spiritual journey is still evolving and that she is making conscious efforts to remain grounded in her faith.

“I stopped going to church when my career started taking off because I was always working on Friday and Saturday nights, and Sunday mornings became difficult, but I still believe in God, I have a relationship with Him, and I’m trying to stay consistent even though it’s not always easy,” she said.
