Why I’ll never discuss my earnings with my spouse – Nancy Isime

Nollywood actress and media personality Nancy Isime has stated that she would never disclose her earnings to a romantic partner, emphasizing the importance she places on privacy and personal boundaries in relationships.

Speaking on the Thanks For Coming podcast, Nancy explained that financial matters are one area she prefers to keep private.

According to her, she does not see any reason why a partner needs to know exactly how much she earns, just as she would not expect him to reveal his earnings to her.

The actress noted that maintaining certain boundaries helps preserve individuality within a relationship. She suggested that mutual respect for privacy is more important than complete financial disclosure between partners.

Nancy also revealed that, unlike many women who grow up dreaming about marriage, she has never been particularly focused on the idea of getting married.

She said …

“Tell a man how much I earn, for what? I can never. And I don’t want him to discuss his earnings with me either. I don’t want to know how much he is earning. I’ve no problem with him going through my phone but for what?

“I would never ask to check his phone. You know, when young girls sit down and daydream about getting married, I have never done that. All I daydream about is working, making money and being independent,” she said.
