2027: ADC uploads presidential candidate nomination particulars to INEC portal

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) says it has successfully uploaded the particulars of its presidential and vice-presidential candidates to the nomination portal of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the 2027 general election.

The party said the uploaded candidates were former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, its presidential candidate, and former Transport Minister, Rotimi Amaechi, vice-presidential candidate, respectively.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Malam Bolaji Abdullahi, announced the development on his X handle on Tuesday night.

He described it as another significant step in preparations for the general election.

“We are pleased to announce successful upload of the names and particulars of our presidential and vice-presidential candidates to the INEC nomination portal,” Abdullahi stated.

This, he said, underscores ADC’s commitment to offering Nigerians a credible alternative anchored on competence, unity, and national renewal.
