Afrobeat star, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has said that Senator Francis Fadahunsi and Representative Oluwole Oke will not be reelected in 2027 except he dies.

Davido said this in reaction to a post by an X user following the Osun State governorship election that was held on August 15, 2026.

The X user: @Tobilola, had tweeted: “Fada and Wole Oke showed capacity sha.

“They’ll be returning to the national assembly, I’m afraid.”

Quoting the post, Davido replied: “Not with me alive.”

Fadahunsi, the representative of Osun East Senatorial District in the Senate, and Oke, the member representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, played significant roles in the governorship election that Davido’s uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, got reelected for a second term.

While One served as the Director General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council for the election that had Bola Oyebamiji as candidate, Fadahunsi was prominent for social media posts opposing Accord.

The Osun State Police Command invited Fadahunsi over one of such videos.
