Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State on Wednesday prostrated and crawled towards his elder brother, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke.
This was after he received his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission in Osogbo, the state capital.
The Eagle Online recalls that INEC had on August 16, 2026 declared Adeleke re-elected for a a second term having emerged the winner of the August 15, 2026 governorship election in the state.
Following the presentation of the Certificate of Return to him, Adeleke made some stops before heading to the Government House, including the home of Dr. Adeleke and the palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo.
At the home of his elder brother, the governor went flat on all fours, crawling towards Dr. Adeleke, who stood with him during the electioneering and the election proper.
Dr. Adeleke, the father of Afrobeat star, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, then prayed for his younger brother, who wore a gree adire attire.
