“Anything below 27 or 28, you’re most likely going to regret it” — Woman warns young women against early marriage

A woman has advised young women against rushing into marriage, arguing that getting married too early could lead to regrets.

The woman, who shared her personal experience, revealed that she met her husband at 18 and got married at 21. Looking back, she believes she was too young to understand what she wanted from marriage.

She said young women sometimes marry because they want to leave their parents’ homes, follow the trend among their friends or simply enjoy the idea of having a wedding.

Woman shares why she opposes early marriage

According to her, maturity helps women understand their values, boundaries and expectations before choosing a life partner.

She said, “If you are a young woman, I don’t think you should get married before 30. Anything below 27 or 28, you’re most likely going to regret it.”

The woman also warned that some men deliberately pursue very young women because they believe they are easier to influence, adding that women naturally change as they grow older.

She further advised young women to focus on building themselves and becoming financially independent before marriage.

She urges women to build themselves first

She said having skills and an income gives women greater confidence and the ability to leave unhealthy relationships if necessary.
