Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin has spoken out amid the ongoing controversy involving social media activist Verydarkman and Apostle Arome Osayi, warning Christians against celebrating what he described as attacks on fellow believers.
Fufeyin, in a video, said the Christian community, particularly in Nigeria, had become divided and urged Christians to support one another when faced with attacks.
“Wow, I can’t believe this. The body of Christ I know is one. But today the body of Christ has been divided. Especially Nigerians,” he said.
He appeared to reference the criticism faced by Apostle Arome, comparing the situation to what he described as an earlier incident involving himself.
“The time when this bullet came to Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, everyone was celebrating vivacious instead of lamenting. One thing I want you to know is that God is not mocked,” he said.
Fufeyin further called on Christians to support one another rather than celebrate when another believer faces difficulties.
“When you see your brother’s bear bear catching fire, you as a brother have to use fire extinguisher to support,” he added.
He subsequently warned that what he described as a “catastrophic act” could affect other Christians.
“So listen, this catastrophic act is coming to all Christians. This the same negative energy that affected Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin is coming to all of you,” he said.
The comments come amid the ongoing public saga between Verydarkman and Apostle Arome. Verydarkman and Fufeyin had also clashed several years ago.
