Nigerian TikTok personalities Habeeb ‘Peller’ Hamzat and his wife, Amadou ‘Jarvis’ Elizabeth, have confirmed that they are expecting their first child, putting months of pregnancy speculation to rest.
The couple announced the news on Thursday through an Instagram post accompanied by photographs from their maternity shoot.
In the photographs, Peller and Jarvis appeared in matching white outfits as they posed together against an ocean backdrop, with Jarvis showing her baby bump.
Reflecting on their journey from dating to marriage and now parenthood, the couple described the pregnancy as a “beautiful chapter” in their lives.
“From two people who once had no idea where this journey would take us… to husband and wife, and now soon to be parents. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve prayed, we’ve grown, and through it all, God kept writing our story,” the post reads.
“Today, we get to share the most beautiful chapter yet. A little piece of our love is coming into this world. Our greatest blessing. Our answered prayer. Peller & Jarvis… and now, a little one on the way. God, thank You for everything. This is more than we could ever ask for.”
The announcement comes about two months after the couple formalised their marriage, following months of publicly documenting their relationship and wedding preparations.
Their relationship had also been the subject of public speculation in recent months, particularly after fans noticed changes in Jarvis’ appearance and began suggesting that she was pregnant.
The couple initially dismissed the speculation, with Jarvis attributing her weight gain to late-night meals.
The latest announcement has now confirmed the pregnancy as the couple prepare to welcome their first child.
