“You are not moving…” – Father’s emotional message to 28-year-old daughter after divorce melts hearts

A 28-years-old lady has shared the emotional message her father sent her before she moved back into her childhood bedroom following her divorce.

In a post shared on TikTok by a woman identified as @bless_ing356, she revealed that her father sent her the message before she walked into the house, reassuring her that she had nothing to be ashamed of despite the end of her marriage.

He explained that he had prepared her childhood bedroom, changed the bedsheets and even kept an old lamp she had refused to throw away when she was 16.

The father also told her that food was available in the fridge and that she did not have to explain what had happened until she felt ready.

In the heartfelt message, he reminded her that returning home after her divorce did not mean she had failed or moved backwards.

“You are not moving backwards. You are coming home. There’s a difference,” he wrote.

He further assured his daughter that she did not need to return with a husband, a plan or an explanation for him to be proud of her.

The father concluded by reminding her that she was always welcome home and that her presence mattered more than her circumstances.

“Just come inside. Your dad missed you always,” he added.
