The Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has suspended his Special Adviser on Research and Planning, Mkor Aondona, following his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, over alleged sexual exploitation and blackmail.
Papers News recalls that the EFCC on Saturday announced the arrest of Aondona after multiple female students accused him of cyberbullying, blackmail, and coercion.
According to the anti-graft agency, the victims alleged that the suspended aide demanded sexual favours in exchange for job placements, secretly recorded the encounters without their consent, and threatened to leak the videos if they refused to continue the sexual relationship.
