The Ebonyi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been thrown into mourning following the death of its former chairman and governorship aspirant, Associate Professor Augustine Nwazunku.
Papers News reports that Nwazunku, who contested the party’s governorship ticket ahead of the 2023 general elections, passed away under yet-to-be-disclosed circumstances.
Until his death, he was a Consultant and Associate Professor of Environmental Health at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State.
