The allegation came from Gabriel Saleh Zock, the current representative for the constituency.
Speaking at an event on Thursday, the 17th of July, 2025, Zock accused Gurada of misappropriating the money, which he said was allocated as part of the Federal Government’s support initiative under President Bola Tinubu to reduce economic hardship.
Gurada dismissed the accusation, insisting that Zock lacked proper information on the matter.
“Let me tell you the truth, he was not in the House, he does not know how it goes, he has no document for it. We that were there, we know, so many things have been shared. If he has the allegation, he should be able to bring proof. You don’t make mere allegations. If he has any proof, he should report me to the authorities because he is a House of Representative member.
