President Bola Ahmed Tinubu received former Ekiti State Governor, Segun Oni, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday.
Papers News reports that Oni was accompanied by Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, and Senate Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele, in what observers view as part of broader efforts by the Presidency to engage influential political figures across party lines.
While the Presidency did not release official details of the discussions, Punch noted that the meeting was held behind closed doors and centred on national issues and ongoing internal repositioning within the APC.
