This refers to checked-in luggage that fails to arrive with the passenger but is delivered later.
Under Part 19 of the Civil Aviation Regulations 2023, passengers are entitled to a “First Need” compensation of ₦10,000 for domestic flights and $170 for international ones.
This payment is meant to cover basic needs while they wait for their luggage.
