A Nigerian lady has expressed concern over the state of security in the country following an incident involving her sister in Maitama.

According to her account, her sister was reportedly robbed and assaulted in the highbrow area, with the attackers not only taking her savings but also allegedly accessing her bank account and taking a loan of over ₦1.3 million without her consent.

The woman lamented that the experience has deeply affected her family, describing it as a painful reality they never expected to face. She also voiced fears about safety in the country, urging others to take precautions.

She said …

“Please, if you can japa from Nigeria, do it. the country no longer feels safe. I’m so angry and sad. Nigeria has finally happened to my family. My sister was r0bb£d and ass@ulted in Maitama, Abuja. She was in a vehicle heading to Lugbe, they moved her to the middle and started b£at!ng her. She was literally bl££d!ng all over.

Mind you, it wasn’t just men. There were 2 women, one guy and the driver. The reason why she even felt comfortable was because there were women in the car. They didn’t just take her savings, they also borrowed over ₦1.3 million from her GTBank account and put it on a 12-month repayment plan.”
