“He stopped on the bridge and threw us out at midnight” – Lady shares shocking date experience
A Nigerian lady has shared a shocking experience after her friend’s talking stage allegedly threw both of them out of his car in the middle of the night.
In a viral video shared on TikTok, she explained that the incident began when she invited her friend to her studio on Lagos Island for a makeup session, after which the friend’s talking stage asked her out on a date.
Narrating the incident, she said:
“He saw the makeup and asked if he could take her out. When he came to pick her, he invited me to join them, and I agreed.”
She explained that they went to a restaurant in Victoria Island where the man ordered food and reportedly spent ₦425,000 on the bill without hesitation.
However, the situation took a turn after he suggested taking her friend back to his place after the outing, a request she declined, insisting he should drop both of them at home instead.
“He kept insisting we go to his place, but my friend said no. He later agreed to drop us, but suddenly said he needed to pick up his friend,” she added.
According to her narration, instead of heading home, the man drove towards the Third Mainland Bridge and suddenly stopped midway, asking them to get out of the car.
Left stranded just minutes to midnight, the two ladies were forced to alight as the man reportedly drove off immediately.
“He stopped on Third mainland bridge, told us to get out and drop the food. This was around 12am. We got down, and he zoomed off,” she concluded.
The story has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many expressing concern over safety, especially when going on dates with people not well known.
One user wrote, “Omo this is scary. This one no funny at all 😳” while another commented, “After eating ₦425k meal una still wan go home. Women will never learn.”
